The SEPA Wellness Coalition is a diverse network of professionals, elected officials and community members who are dedicated to creating a healthier Pennsylvania. The mission is to promote activities and policies designed to encourage healthy behaviors in the places where people live, work and play in order to improve health outcomes and foster a culture of wellness in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

We offer free continuing education in trending topics across medicine, public health, social services, social justice and health disparities, advocacy, and research and evaluation. Advocacy Institute and Real Talk Tobacco 

Advocacy Institute - Join us!

The Advocacy Institute is a training program designed to empower teens and community stakeholders to drive sustainable change. Through a five-phase framework based on the diffusion of innovation and empowerment theories, we teach youth participants the "how-to" of making public health policy that responds to community needs. TRU (Tobacco Resistance Unit) in PA

Tobacco Resistance Unit (TRU in PA)

TRU is a movement throughout all of Pennsylvania to help youth, ages 12 to 18, stay tobacco and nicotine-free. TRU aims to prevent and stop youth tobacco use through education about tobacco industry tactics, and the effects of tobacco on individuals and communities. For more information, please contact us.
